I celebrated my wife's spring name days and birthdays with this great ebony clock. The wrist had to be shortened, and it wasn't difficult. There were two people and information; I learned how to shorten my own Aarnini bracelet from the instructions and did it alone. I never cease to marvel at 1 the ingenious socket screw design, 2 the durability of the millimeter stems and their grooves under the screws. A big guy like me wonders when the heel grooves don't round. My fingers have a lot of power. When I've recently been looking for wood screws at the hardware store, it's easy to twist - even by hand - the cross-head screw pattern into a cup. It also goes into the wood, but reversing the screw is very difficult. The watch is wonderful and even better now with the shortened strap. I think that when it comes to checking the time, the phone and the wall clock are second to none.
